Sayulita is about 21 miles (35 kms) north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. Upon exiting the airport, take a RIGHT onto MEX 200 and an immediate LEFT in order to be traveling north (away from PV). Follow the signs to COMPOSTELA and TEPIC.
After approximately 20 minutes, you will pass through the town of Bucerias. MEX 200 continues on as a four-lane highway for a few more miles until the turnoff to Punta Mita. Follow the signs for MEX 200 / Tepic. The highway changes to a two-lane road and heads up a curvy mountain road. Watch for animals grazing on the side of the road. After passing through the town of San Ignacio, a sign marks the turnoff to Sayulita, at kilometer marker 123. Turn LEFT off MEX 200 and then the first RIGHT into Sayulita...
To Casa Verde -- FOLLOW THE ORANGE LINE ON MAP BELOW -- Turn RIGHT at the 2nd street and drive to the last road, PALMAR. Turn RIGHT and continue until you reach the cobblestoned road. Go down a short hill, past the yellow wall. Before going back up, turn RIGHT onto Chachalacas (sign on a tree). Make the first LEFT into the driveway after the white wall, # 10.
OR
Continue the 3 kilometers into town. You will cross a bridge that leads you onto the one-way system into the center of town.
Please note, Sayulita is now on Central Time, the same as Puerto Vallarta.
